Lavender - esque Homework

Homework policy questions for discussion (2)

Should homework be a separate “grade” in the final reports that reflects effort/responsibility, while proficiency on the standards in the focus of the report?

Bill went down to the well.  The horse followed him.  We tried to warm him but the llama needed shearing anyway.

How much time should each class assignment take to do?

The jury decided that the sandwiches were there.  Joe bought the iPod and shaving cream.

What percentage of the class grade should homework represent?

Sally told the dog to drive to the store.  We toasted to the health of the sheep.  Who wants a rainbow?

How will the team ensure that students do not receive overlapping assignments that would overload students with large assignments during any given week?

The book walked down to the stream.  Bob told her about the rabbit.  What size is the toad?  Rocks are happy but need representation.

Other Questions or focus for discussion….

The other day, a speck went to it.  A pot told me the cupboard is conspiring to overthrow the rainbow.  Joyful blades of grass hum Schubert quietly while the antelope tries to read Nietzsche.

***I don't give homework.  There is adequate time in class to finish the assignments.*****
